The small "boom" holding the camera up was temperamentalfor the first week, flopping down quite often. After that, it simply fell apart, I think the threading broke on the turn-key.

I then bought a Logitech camera for around $40 and it's solid.

Bought this new webcam having got a Kinobo one in the past for my laptop. Thought this looked pretty sturdy, and I wasn't disappointed - it stands exactly where I want it to, and won't budge. Feels well made, and the thing I like is that you can put it in almost any position imaginable.

Only tiny criticism is that the lens cap is not attached to the webcam, so you have to take it off and keep it somewhere if you want to use it. I know I'm going to lose mine at some point! Other than that, perfect picture and impressive mic. Recommend.

No complaints from the 7 year old, but the padding is thin and of a very lightweight foam that compresses under little force. The pad interferes some with the use of the cupholders because they barely clear the edge of the hard plastic part of the seat when they pull out.

Just bought The Graco Backless Turbobooster at Target because I trusted the name and it was the cheapest. Thought I was getting a deal. It is going back.I realize that it is not exactly the same thing as the 'Baker', but the complaint is the same. There is no padding above the hard plastic surface except the little that is in the cover. What a disappointment. Glad I read the reviews and then looked at what I bought before opening it up.

This is the second booster seat of its kind that I have gotten for my six year old. Its a great seat and relatively inexpensive. I also like that it isn't bulky and can be easily transfered. The cup holders on either side could be pushed in which I think is neat. I would definitely recommend this.

I am not ususally attracted to historical novels, but this wonderful book was different. It grabbed my full attention from the very first chapter and I literally could not put it down. It tells the amazing story of the conquest of the Natives of Puget Sound by white men--the "Boston Tribe". The story is poignant and tragic. The writing style is gorgeous. Schein's characters jump right off the page. He does a beautiful job of weaving the history and landscape of the Pacific Northwest into this exciting page-turner. I especially enjoyed the romance between the American Captain, Charlie Eaton, and the native daughter of Chief Leschi, Kalakala. Their story homanizes the culture clash that ultimately lead to war. The book is filled with astonishing scenes--marial law, murder trials, frontier whorehouses, glimpses of San Francisco during the Gold Rush, which help produceJust Deceits: A Historical Courtroom Mystery it's tremendous emotional impact. In summary, this is a terrific historical novel which will be of interest to everyone, not just readers from the Pacific Northwest!

Bones Beneath Our Feet by Michael Schein is a powerful and deeply moving historical novel about the conquest of the Puget Sound area by the "Bostons" as white people were known in the mid-nineteenth century. Based on research of the actual historical record, the story brings alive the struggles for justice by Chief Leschi and the Nisqually tribe who were being cheated out of their land by the infamous Governor Isaac Stevens. This story is a gripping one and beautifully written with vivid descriptions of the landscape that we all love. The characters, both historical and created, come alive as they fight and love throughout this big book. I especially loved his descriptions of the culture of the indigenous people, much of which may be lost today. We need the wisdom of the native peoples more than ever to balance the degradation of the landscape. I highly recommend Bones Beneath Our Feet to all who love the land and its history as well as those who love a damn good story with fine writing. And it has all the elements needed for a powerful movie. Having read Michael Schein's first book, Just Deceits, I anticipated that his second book would be one that I would want to purchase and Bones Beneath Our Feet has my highest recommendation!

BONES BENEATH OUR FEET combines a thrilling ride though Puget Sound's Wild West era with a powerful story of social injustice. The main protagonist, Nisqually Chief Leschi, is a tragic character who is all the better for his occasional weakness and self-doubt, because this makes him more real. The portrayal of first Territorial Governor Stevens is spot-on based on the actual historical record, since he was totally consumed with the need to destroy Leschi in order to salve his own guilty conscience for cheating the Natives out of their land. This is a big book for a big land - everything is bigger in the Pacific Northwest. Schein, who has lived here for many years, obviously knows this land well, and writes it beautifully. I especially enjoyed the Battle of Seattle, which is virtually orchestrated from multiple viewpoints. I give BONES my highest recommendation!

I just moved from Houston to San Francisco during December. I was waking up cold at night in the new climate. I ordered this electric blanket and the first night under it was a dream. It has a very nice even heat distribution, and it's light and breathes well. I put it above the top sheet and covered it with another light fleece blanket and light comforter. It kept me nice and warm without ever feeling hot. I love using it to prewarm the bed before turning in for the night. I usually set it to med-hi to warm the bed, then turn it down to about 3-4 when I climb in it. The dual zones are great. I like medium warm and my partner likes really warm. It has a nice satin border at the top that is very comfortable to the touch. The plugin at the bottom is sturdy, and easy to connect, and a little built-in clip keeps it from detaching accidentally. The cord to the dual control units is long enough to allow sufficient length to comfortably set them on the bedside tables. A lighted LCD panel allows you to easily see what setting you're on if you wake and need to adjust the heat up or down. The automatic shut off is 11 hours; allowing for a convenient period of time to prewarm the bed, a full night's sleep, and then shuts off shortly afterward without leaving you laying in a cold bed.

I love this blanket and highly recommend it.

From the 1st day the cord wiggles loose from the blanket & was CONSTANTLY turning off. Pushing it tight doesn't work either, so I duct taped it tight & that seems to work for now. I ALSO BOUGHT ANOTHER SUNBEAM heated throw (different type of blanket but SAME type of connection) & IT DOES THE SAME THING! Only, we can't get the connection to stay at all, so the blanket's worthless. Coincidence? I think not. OBviously SUNBEAM has some work to do to fix this poor design!! OH, & almost as irritating w/ this design, is when the connection wiggles lose the control blinks red & you can't reset it from the control. You have to get up & unplug then replug the blanket into the wall to reset it. AHHHHH

To start with, I'm a Linux user and care not a whit for the software that came pre-installed on this stick.

This device has acted as my primary key fob now for a year or so. It has worked well and been very durable in the harsh environment of my pocket. The rubberized cover prevents most dust from getting to the USB plug itself, and the rest of the casing is sturdy.

Additionally the write protect switch allows me to feel safe sticking this thing into computers I don't consider terribly secure as I know that no software will be able to randomly install itself on it.

I haven't run any serious speed tests or anything like that, but it hasn't been so slow that I've really noticed.

My main complaint is a complaint that I have with all USB sticks, and that's that FAT32 is a horrible filesystem for these things. Its only virtue is that practically every computer in existence can read it. Otherwise it's slow, and requires complicated wear leveling software in the USB stick itself in order to avoid wearing out the stick in short order. It also is badly designed for removing the stick while data is still cached.

Stick manufacturers should stop implementing weird complex internal wear leveling algorithms designed to make FAT32 work well and instead band together and fund Open Source projects like LogFS (http://logfs.org/) and get them ported to Windows and OS X and stuff drivers for those OSes in a little FAT partition on the stick.

I checked out several reviews for this product and similar ones before making my purchase and I'm glad that I did. Apparently, there are a few manufacturers who make the "Charlie Brown Christmas Tree" and some of them don't get very good reviews. At $20, I knew that this wasn't going to be a stellar piece of construction. But I didn't want something that looked totally cheap, either. I'm happy with this particular version of the famous tree. Out of the box, it is certainly recognizable and is appropriately simple. All you have to do is screw the two baseboards together, fluff out the branches a little, bend one and hang your red ornament. The branches are short and quite sturdy, so be careful when moving them. They are also slightly flocked, which gives the needles a nice, sparkly appearance. This version doesn't come with Linus's blue blanket, but the ones that do are little more than silly pieces of felt. My family immediately recognized the tree without the blanket, although my eventual plan is to stop by the local fabric store and spend a couple of bucks on a piece of fabric of my choosing. It's a good product for the price!

I bought this thinking it was going to be a "Professional" iron and it's far from it. I've had the same experience with the 2 I've received. Both of them right out of the box, filled with water, turned on and water leakes out the sides and bottom all over shirt. By the time I couldn't deal with it any longer, the 30 day return policy was up and now I'm stuck with it. Very disappointed!!! And from reading other reviews. It seems this product is constantly getting bad reviews. Lesson Learned (at least at a low price).

This is from Connie, I don't iron much. Actually never. I love wrinkles, Connie loves to iron.

I had this Shark for about one year. It totally died. My husband even took off the cover to check that the cord had not gone bad: There was power to the inside terminals but nothing after that. It's into the trash. Then I bought a Roenta based on Consumer Reports results (out of date as usual) but this iron is wonderful. Much better ironing than the Shark ever thought of being. If you want a good iron, spend around the $100-price point and get something that works really good. No longevity numbers on the Roenta yet but high expectations.

Basically Shark products are at the glitz and glitter low end of product lines. We are wondering why we bought it in the first place. Somebody must be buying Shark products, right? Maybe now we will go elsewhere.

This is an excellent rice cooker if it was not the their top-of-the-line model at $400. Its well made in Japan, and not in China like the cheaper models. However, the high-end features are pure marketing crap, which is consistent with the final outcome of the GABA Brown setting. After patiently waiting for almost 4 hours for the unit to make the rice, it came out completely overcooked and mushy. I knew ahead of time from previous reviews that this would happen, but I needed a starting point and so I chose to stick with instruction manual. I had to call out for Chinese instead. Fortunately their rice was much better.

When I called their customer service, they didn't offer an apology, but instead, stated that I should use less water as "to my liking". Also, I can find no evidence that alpha starch is better than beta starch or even if that was the case, that high pressure cooking will indeed convert the starches in that manner. As I told the Zojirusi rep, what has been stated by their marketing material on this model is probably the most overblown statement since they said that the Titanic was unsinkable. For this price, I would have expected some kind of "Happy Ending" feature. I have been cooking rice with Japanese rice cookers for decades. When my last one failed after more than 20-years of service, I decided to buy the best replacement I could find, regardless of cost. (It's easy for me to justify paying a premium for a product I plan to use on a daily basis for decades.) After much research, I chose this one because it seemed to me that the Zojirushi induction pressure rice cookers were regarded as among the best rice cookers sold in US.

I am very happy with the build quality, look and convenience features of the product. However, after buying the rice cooker, I realized that pressure cookers produce rice that is too soft for my taste. I now know that many people prefer pressure rice cookers specifically because they produce super soft rice that doesn't adhere together too much. I prefer rice with a little more body. After corresponding directly with Zojirushi, I learned that the "soft", "medium", and "hard" settings can only be used when cooking white rice on the default setting, but not in any of the other settings (e.g., quick rice) or with any other grains (e.g., brown rice) and that white rice cooked on the "hard" setting in this cooker is roughly as hard as white rice cooked in a non-pressure cooker on the default setting.

I had eight people from three families individually compare high quality white and brown rice freshly cooked in this cooker and a budget one-button rice cooker in side-by-side blind taste tests. Everyone had surprisingly strong preferences, but their preferences were roughly equally split between rice cooked in the pressure cooker and budget cooker based on texture. Those who liked super soft rice thought the rice cooked in the Zojirushi was great. Those who didn't prefered the rice cooked in the budget cooker.

I rate this cooker with 1-star, while my wife would give it 5-stars, based solely on whether we happen to like super soft rice. I like everything about the cooker, except for the texture of the rice it produces. If I had my druthers, I would swap this pressure induction cooker for a non-pressure version from the same maker. Unfortunately for me, her vote is more equal than mine, especially in the kitchen....

Gave this to my daughter for Christmas. As with other reviewers she found zippers only on 2 sides and had a difficult time putting it on by herself. Pulled a seam on one side corner. Would recommend that at least two people should install this.

I bought the oyster colored cover. I think I was expecting more of a khaki tint to it, but when it arrived, it was lighter and more drab than I wanted. Just boring. It's very neutral, though, so it would probably be a great blank canvas to start with if you have an eye for decorating.

Bought this product for my son as a gift (he recently purchased his first house). Usually I'd have it sent to me, but against my better judgement I had it sent directly to his address. I was embarressed and dissapointed at the quality of the material, the fit was flimsy, and the color was nothing like i expected. Had i seen it first, I would never have purchased it.
